Trip Itinerary
After arriving at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwestern Uganda, a sanctuary that hosts nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Along the way, you’ll stop at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe for a fascinating demonstration and photo opportunities.
In the afternoon, you’ll continue your scenic drive with a stop in Mbarara for lunch, then proceed through Ntungamo and Kabale to reach Bwindi.
Upon arrival at the lodge, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the staff, check in, and spend the evening at leisure. Enjoy dinner and rest in preparation for the next day’s gorilla adventure.

After an early breakfast and with your packed lunch in hand, you’ll head to the park headquarters by 7:45 AM for registration and a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette. Once assigned to your gorilla group, you’ll begin your trek through Bwindi’s dense rainforest.
The trek may last from 30 minutes to several hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. The experience of spending one unforgettable hour in the presence of a mountain gorilla family is truly profound. Along the way, you may also spot other primates, birds, and exotic flora. After your trek, you’ll receive a certificate to commemorate your role in gorilla conservation.
Later in the evening, you’ll transfer to Kisoro, near Mgahinga National Park, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for a briefing before starting your golden monkey trekking adventure. Led by experienced ranger guides, this trek will not only introduce you to the lively golden monkeys but may also reward you with views of other park wildlife and beautiful landscapes.
After completing your trek, return to your lodge for a relaxing afternoon and overnight stay.
