Continue the journey and stop in Masindi town for lunch, then proceed to the park for a visit to the Top of the Falls. Witness the incredible power of the River Nile as it forces its way through a 7-meter-wide gorge before plunging 43 meters below—an awe-inspiring sight and perfect photo opportunity.

With some luck, you may also spot lions, leopards, and hyenas.
The game drive offers excellent photo opportunities as the early morning light bathes the plains in golden hues, and animals are most active during this time.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some rest.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Nile River—a highlight of the safari. As you cruise toward the base of the falls, watch for hippos, Nile crocodiles, and abundant birdlife including African fish eagles, kingfishers, and the elusive shoebill stork. The cruise ends near the base of Murchison Falls, where you can feel the thunder of the water and marvel at the raw force of nature.
