Trip Itinerary
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe by your professional driver-guide. After a short briefing, begin the journey north toward Murchison Falls National Park through Uganda’s scenic countryside.
Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can track wild white rhinos on foot. Accompanied by experienced rangers, walk through the bush and observe these magnificent animals in their natural habitat.
Continue the journey to Masindi town for lunch before entering Murchison Falls National Park. Later, visit the Top of the Falls where you will witness the incredible force of the Nile River as it squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge and drops about 43 meters below.
After this spectacular experience, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, cross the ferry to the northern section of the park, known for its excellent wildlife viewing. Enjoy a morning game drive through the savannah plains where you may see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Ugandan kobs, and Jackson’s hartebeest.
With some luck, you may also encounter predators such as lions, leopards, or hyenas. The early morning hours provide great lighting for photography and are when wildlife is most active.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile River. This boat safari takes you toward the base of Murchison Falls and offers close views of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds including African fish eagles, kingfishers, and sometimes the rare shoebill stork.
The cruise ends near the base of the falls where you can admire the powerful cascade and feel the spray of the rushing water.
