This short but action-packed safari starts and ends in Kampala (or Entebbe) and can be customized to suit your location and preferences.

Trip Itinerary
Your guide will pick you up early morning from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe to begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Before setting off, you’ll receive a short briefing to prepare for your adventure.
En route, enjoy scenic drives through Uganda’s countryside, passing traditional villages, rolling hills, and local markets. A stop at the Uganda Equator offers great photo opportunities and a chance to stretch your legs.
Lunch will be served en route, followed by the final stretch to Queen Elizabeth National Park. If time allows, head out on an evening game drive to catch your first glimpse of the park’s wildlife, including elephants, antelopes, and perhaps a big cat on the hunt.

After an early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, the best area in the park for spotting large mammals and predators. Look out for lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, Ugandan kobs, and many other species. Early morning offers the best wildlife sightings, as animals are more active in the cool hours.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of the highlights of this safari. The channel links Lake Edward and Lake George and is famous for its high concentration of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and over 400 bird species. This 2-hour cruise offers excellent opportunities for close-up wildlife photography and birdwatching.
After the boat ride, return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Depending on your schedule, you may choose to enjoy one last early morning game drive before beginning the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe.
On your way back, you’ll have the option to stop at scenic viewpoints overlooking crater lakes, the Rift Valley escarpments, or local craft markets for souvenirs.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant en route, arriving back in the city in the late afternoon or early evening. Your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport, depending on your travel plans.
