Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and must be paid in full before confirmation.
- Permits are generally non-refundable once issued.
- In cases of illness or accident before tracking begins, UWA may authorize a 50% refund.
- A medical diagnosis from a qualified professional may be required.
5. Client Amendments
Clients may request changes to their booking in writing through the Group Leader.

6. Company Amendments
Bamba Safaris reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, transport, or activities due to circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, wildlife movements, flight schedule changes, or accommodation availability.
Where possible, a similar alternative of equal standard will be provided.
7. Communication
All official communication must be made via email. If you do not receive a response within 48 hours, please resend your message as technical issues may occur.
8. Guides and Staff
If a guide becomes unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, Bamba Safaris reserves the right to replace them with another qualified guide.
9. Wildlife and Safety
Safaris occur in natural environments where wildlife roams freely. Clients must follow instructions from guides, park rangers, and camp staff at all times.
Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, and Bamba Safaris cannot be held responsible for incidents involving wildlife.
10. Accommodation
Accommodation is typically provided in twin or double rooms, safari tents, or bandas with private bathrooms where available.
Single rooms may be available at an additional cost but cannot always be guaranteed.
11. Client Conduct
Bamba Safaris reserves the right to remove any participant from a tour if their behavior is considered disruptive, dangerous, or harmful to others or the environment. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
12. Transport
Vehicles are provided according to the number of participants and itinerary requirements. While we ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, delays may occur due to road conditions, breakdowns, or unforeseen circumstances.
13. Photography and Marketing
By participating in a Bamba Safaris tour, clients agree that photos or videos taken during the trip may be used for promotional purposes on websites, social media, brochures, and advertisements.
14. Travel Insurance
Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellations, and loss of personal belongings.
15. Health and Fitness
Some safari activities require a reasonable level of physical fitness. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.
16. Liability
Bamba Safaris acts as an agent for third-party service providers such as lodges, airlines, and national parks. These providers operate independently and are responsible for their own services.
Bamba Safaris cannot be held liable for injury, illness, loss, delays, or damages caused by third parties or events beyond our control.
17. Complaints
Any complaint during the tour should be reported immediately to the safari guide or company representative so it can be addressed promptly.
If unresolved, complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days after the tour ends.
18. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a booking form and making a payment toward a safari with Bamba Safaris, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
