Trip Itinerary
After an early breakfast, depart Kampala or Entebbe for a scenic drive to Northern Uganda. The journey takes you through the countryside and across the Nile River at Karuma Falls, offering beautiful views along the way.
Depending on your preferences and time available, you may stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking or save this experience for the return journey.
Arrive in Gulu Town in the afternoon or early evening, check in at your lodge, and enjoy dinner.

After breakfast, continue your journey northeast through the Acholi and Karamoja regions toward Kidepo Valley National Park. The route passes through scenic hills, seasonal rivers, and traditional Manyatas (Karamojong homesteads).
Upon arrival at the park, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for your first evening game drive in Narus Valley. This area is known for its permanent water sources and abundant wildlife.

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Narus Valley, one of the best places in the park to spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. The valley is also home to predators such as lions and leopards, with occasional sightings of cheetahs.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before heading out for another evening game drive to explore more of Kidepo’s wildlife-rich savannah.

After breakfast, enjoy another morning game drive in Narus Valley to search for animals you may have missed. Later, return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, drive north toward the more remote Kidepo Valley, where you will visit the Kanangorok Hot Springs near the Uganda–South Sudan border. This region is known for its dramatic scenery, seasonal rivers, and the possibility of spotting ostriches.

After an early breakfast, depart Kidepo Valley National Park and begin the scenic journey back toward central Uganda.
Arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and relax after the long drive.

After breakfast, take part in a guided rhino tracking experience on foot at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Accompanied by trained rangers, you will walk through the bush to observe the rhinos up close while learning about Uganda’s rhino conservation program.
After the activity, begin the drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight or hotel drop-off.
