Trip Itinerary
Your journey begins with a warm welcome from your professional safari guide upon arrival at Kigali International Airport or your hotel in Kigali. From here, you’ll begin your scenic drive southward toward Nyungwe Forest. Along the way, you’ll explore cultural landmarks such as:

Wake up early and head into the forest for your chimpanzee trekking expedition. Led by experienced rangers, you’ll track troops of chimpanzees through dense forest trails. Witness their playful behavior, hear their vocal calls echo through the trees, and observe them in their natural habitat.
After returning to the lodge for lunch and a short rest, your afternoon adventure takes you to the Nyungwe Canopy Walkway, suspended over 60 meters above the forest floor. This thrilling walk offers panoramic views of the rainforest and the chance to spot monkeys, birds, and rare plant life from above.
