Trip Itinerary
After breakfast, your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park begins. Along the way, you’ll stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for a short talk, photos, and a fun water experiment. Continuing through Mbarara City, you’ll enjoy a lunch stop before proceeding through the scenic Kigezi Highlands, known for their terraced hills and lush banana plantations.
You’ll arrive at your lodge in the evening for check-in, dinner, and relaxation.

Begin your day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters at around 7:45 a.m. for registration and a pre-trekking briefing. You’ll be assigned to a gorilla group and accompanied by expert rangers into the forest. The trek can take from 30 minutes to several hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas. Once located, you’ll have a full hour to observe and photograph these majestic creatures.
After the experience, return to the headquarters for your tracking certificate, then head back to the lodge for a relaxed evening.

Following breakfast, you’ll depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most biodiverse game reserve. The journey will take you past banana plantations and tea estates, with several scenic stops for photography.
Arriving in time for lunch at your lodge—such as Elephant Hab or Buffalo Safari Lodge—you’ll have a moment to unwind before embarking on an evening game drive across the Kasenyi plains, where sightings of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and even predators like lions or leopards are possible.
