Tour Overview
This 5 Day Gorilla Trekking & White Water Rafting Safari begins with a scenic drive to Jinja, located in eastern Uganda. Here, you’ll take on the Nile’s legendary white water rapids for a heart-pounding rafting experience. From there, the trip continues to the southwestern part of the country where you will explore the pristine Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and track one of the habituated mountain gorilla families. The safari concludes with a return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, offering a perfect blend of adventure and wildlife encounters.

Trip Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for the night. Depending on your arrival time and traffic, you may enjoy a brief optional city tour en route.

After breakfast, you will drive eastward to Jinja, passing through the lush Mabira Forest. Upon reaching Kalagala Falls, you will embark on a thrilling white water rafting adventure. After an adrenaline-filled day, you’ll return to Kampala for dinner and overnight.

You’ll depart early for Bwindi, stopping at the Equator for photos and demonstrations. Lunch is served in Mbarara before continuing through the beautiful terraced hills of western Uganda. Arrive in Bwindi for check-in, dinner, and overnight.

After breakfast and with packed lunch in hand, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. The trek through Bwindi’s dense forest may take from 30 minutes to several hours, depending on gorilla movement. You’ll have one unforgettable hour with the gorillas before returning to your lodge for rest and celebration.
